It is a PRIVILEGE to be a member of East Hanover Volunteer Rescue Squad! We are looking for people who are willing to commit to helping their community. We are available to respond to emergencies throughout the week. We work 12 and 24 hour shifts to provide quality care to those in need. We appreciate the support of the community!
MEMBERS AT EHVRS CELEBRATE 40 YEARS OF SERVICE
To be a part of the East Hanover Volunteer Rescue Squad is indeed a privilege. To become a part of a program that is rich in tradition, dedication, and unselfish volunteerism to the community, makes us proud to wear our uniform. The photo to the left, is from one of our first calls and in our very first ambulance. Notice how the uniforms were white back then. The photo was taken in 1969/70 when we started our service to Mechanicsville, VA. In 2009, EHVRS celebrated 40 years of this community service, and we are proud to present to you, a document illustrating those first 40 years.
