              Pet First Aid Class is set for Saturday, January 22, 2011

              A Pet First Aid Class has been set for Saturday Afternoon, January 22, 2011 at East Hanover VRS. The class will start at 2:00 PM, and will end at approximately 4:00 PM. This course is certified through the American Safety and Health Institute, and will be taught by ASHI Instructors Angel and John Von Hagel.


              Pet First Aid is the immediate care given to an injured or suddenly ill pet as temporary assistance, until competent veterinary care is available.
              Properly applied first aid can save your pet's life, reduce recovery time and be the difference between temporary disability and lifelong disability. This program concentrates on BASIC FIRST AID CARE. It is NOT intended to replace veterinary care, but rather in instruct the pet owner on how to save a pet's life during an emergency or to minimize a pet's trauma after injury.
